Hami 1GW CSP + PV Integrated Renewable Energy Demonstration Project

Located in Hami,Xinjiang,this landmark energy complex boasts a total installed capacity of 1GW.

The facility integrates a 100 MW Linear Fresnel Concentrated Solar Power (CsP) plant with molten salt thermal storage and a 900 MW photovoltaic (PV) power plant.It currently stands as

China’s largest gigawatt-scale demonstration project featuring integrated Linear Fresnel CSP + PV technology.

Upon full grid connection, the project is projected to generate approximately 2.067 billion kWh of clean electricity annually.

This will offset about 620,000 tons of standard coal and slash annual COz emissions by over 1.63 million tons.

Beyond power generation, the project pioneers a sustainable development model that harmonizes renewable energy with desert ecological restoration. It serves as a global benchmark for the dual-mission of clean energy utilization and desertification control.
